Weāre featuring some quality strains from Canadian growers, with the bonus of spooky strain names perfect for the season.Ā
WHITE WIDOW
This one is a classic, named for the visible white coating of trichomes over the flower. I suppose itās no surprise the THC content is relatively high, at 14% to 20%. It tastes as good as it looks. Itās heavy in linalool with significant amounts of myrcene and alpha-pinene. These terpenes give the flower a strong, sweet, woody smell. This hybrid flower grown by 7acres is available in 3.5 grams at select High Tea locations.
GHOST TRAIN HAZE
This stunning Sativa is a blend of Neville’s Wreck and Ghost OG, with a historically high THC content. With a terpene profile of terpenolene, beta-pinene, and beta-caryophyllene, itās got a sour citrus smells that really hints to the strength of the flower. At High Tea, we carry this strain by two different Canadian growers, Color Cannabis (16% – 26% THC) and UP (21% – 27% THC). We have it by Color in 3.5 grams or prerolls and by UP in 3.5 grams at select High Tea locations.
C99
Halloween doesnāt always have to be spooky, itās also about dressing up as nostalgic characters. In this case, the C in C99 stands for Cinderella, a classic Halloween costume. Itās also a great choice for weed, turns out! This Sativa-dominant strain is hang-dried and hand-finished by Doja growers. With 20% – 26% THC itās our strongest strain featured so far. With prominent terpenes of beta-caryophyllene, limonene, and pinene, it has a pine and citrus scent. Itās available in 3.5 grams at select High Tea locations.
WHITE SHARK
This Sativa-dominant strain boasts the perfect balance between Indica and Sativa, creating a strong flower with a level-headed effect. With 13% – 20% THC, it certainly isnāt weak. The hybrid proportions along with prominent beta-caryophyllene, alpha-pinene, and beta-pinene terpenes add up to a good flower to bring for your spooky season activities. The terpenes give it a sweet, earthy, citrus scent. This flower by Color Cannabis is available in 3.5 grams at select High Tea locations.
ALIEN SINMINT COOKIES
I think the aliens would be honoured by our choice to name this beautiful bud after them. Created from a cross of Alien OG and SinMint Cookies, this Indica-dominant hybrid has 21% – 27% THC (as you can imagine just by looking at itš¤¤). It has a sweet, flowery smell with strong mint overtones, which would be weird for cookies but is delicious in pot. It gets its flavour from the heavy amounts of beta-pinene and limonene. Grown by BLKMKT, this strain is available in 3.5 grams at select High Tea locations.
OUTLAW
This strain gets its name from its roots – the legacy market. Itās a cross between Amnesia and Super Haze, two very popular strains from pre-legalization. Itās Sativa-dominant, with 18% to 24% THC, making it a great choice for a night out with friends. It has a sweet, earthy smell thanks to the high levels of beta-caryophyllene, humulene, limonene, and alpha-bisabolol. On top of being strong and delicious, these Canadian Redecan flowers are hand-trimmed and carefully quality-checked. Itās available in 1 gram or 3.5 grams at select High Tea locations.
ORANGEADE
I mean, just look at itš. Despite the gorgeous sticky nug this strain produces (more characteristic of an Indica flower), itās actually a Sativa dominant hybrid. What makes it seasonally appropriate? Itās orange! And itās not just the colour, this beautiful bud also gives off an orange soda smell thanks to the caryophyllene, humulene, and limonene terpenes present. With 17% – 23% THC, this tasty strain by Tenzo is available in 3.5 grams at select High Tea locations.
